"Hi Terry, Thanks again for putting on a great simulated game shoot for us we were all very impressed and I couldn't think of a better way to have spent my stag day and we will see you again in the future I hope. Regards, Donald"

"Terry, thanks for a wonderful day yesterday. This was some of the best clay targets I've shot at in twenty years and in truly stunning scenery. Excellent organisation, brilliant food and great company. We'll be booking for next year and I suspect bringing a few more bodies with us once we tell everyone about it!! This really is as close as it gets to game shooting. Well done and keep up the good work."

Our simulated days driven grouse, partridge and pheasant far exceeded my expectation in its ability to recreate a real shoot. The organisation was first class, the traps never seen, the clays sporting and the catering first class from the bacon butties and coffee through lunch and on to tea. A great way to spend a day with friends in the closed season and first class practice with the gun. Thank you and all your team. I am sure we will be back!

"Had a great day. For those who've never tried it and think it's a poor substitute for the real thing - think again!"

By Lee Paterson on 17 June 2011

"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you and your team in making our Simulated Driven Day such a fantastic experience. As all sixteen guns arrived at the bothy we were all greeted with a warm welcome, bacon rolls tea and coffee. Once the guns were paired up for the day ahead and the safety briefing done it was time to move on to the drives. The first drive was driven partridge fast and furious was to be the order of the day. With each gun taking turns at each drive our gun barrels were glowing. we then move on to the following five further drives of grouse, high pheasant and high driven partridge. With an excellent lunch and afternoon tea all included in the day.

Drummond Estate is one of the best Simulated Driven days the team of guns and myself have ever had the privilege to shoot. And would thoroughly recommend any team of guns to try This type of clay shooting."

"A long overdue note to say a big thanks for our simulated shoot day. The whole thing was thoroughly enjoyed by all. You have put together a superb package and we all thought very reasonably priced!"

By Graham Davies, Sheffield on 13 June 2011

"Set within the grounds of a shooting estate in the stunning countryside of Perthshire this is an opportunity not to be missed. Competitively priced the novice shooter can experience what gameshooting is all about under the watchful eyes of professional instructors and loaders. Whilst the more experienced gameshooter can test their skills against "state of the art traps" mimicking driven grouse and high pheasants. The whole day is enhanced by the hospitality and home cooking provided for in the cosy and friendly atmosphere of the shooting lodge. This experience comes highly recommended."

"What a great day out - I haven't shot as much for a long time and it certainly makes for a cracking pre-season warm-up. Terry and his team are knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and showed us a variety of birds, from grouse through pheasant and partridge, and set them up to be appropriately testing! We'll definitely be back....."

'Possibly the best simulated days I have ever been to! Drummond excells due to the fact that you are actually out on the moor, in the woods, along the river etc. After our first day three years ago, my fellow guns requested that I immediatly book for the for the following season. This will be our third year and we have booked two days as practise for the upcoming season. A simply great and enjoyable day to spend with friends and to get your eye in before raising your gun to the real thing! A day (or two) at Drummond before the season starts, means you are "on target" when the first bird, on the first drive heads straight for you! As you can tell. I cannot recommned it highly enough!'

“Terry, just wanted to say thank you to you and the Drummond Estate for the simulated walked up grouse shooting you put on for the team and I prior to us shooting the real thing for the first time. The team really appreciated being able to shoot these targets over a heather moor just like the real thing. Look forward to seeing you next year before the start of the season!"
